* Joseph Cempla (1918-2004) was a Polish artist, graphic artist, painter and Illustrator. He is one of the main representatives of the Polish school of drawing.
Born in Bielsko-Biała, which has devoted one of his cycles.
He studied at the State Institute of fine arts and Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (Department of architecture). He graduated with honors.
In the years 1945-50 he worked in favour of the establishment of the Association of Polish artists and designers in Bielsko-Biała. In 1951, he became involved with Krakow, where he was a professor and head of the Design Studio Preliminary Architectural Design Cathedral.
