The exhibition, organized by the Central Bureau of Artistic Exhibitions (CBWA) and the Committee for Cultural Cooperation with Foreign Countries, took place in the exhibition halls of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw (4th floor) in August and September 1956.
