Original Polish poster advertising the “Warsaw Zoo” with numerous various animals. Poster design: WALDEMAR ŚWIERZY, 1979.

Poster was issued as part of a several-element series of posters commissioned by the Zoological Garden in Warsaw in 1979. This series consisted of 6 posters (giraffes, polar owl, polar bears, grey seals, Przewalski’s horse, numerous animals on red background). It was the second series that Waldemar Swierzy designed for the Warsaw Zoo. The first one, comprising 4 designs, was created in 1967 and depicted: flamingos, a hippopotamus, a monkey and a tiger.
